Ebrima Jatta, 36, is a Master’s of Business Administration candidate at the prestigious Hanze University of Applied Sciences – Groningen. Working as a retail and transformation manager at the Standard Chartered Bank, Jatta is also the Chairman and founding member of CASA-Gambia. CASA-Gambia was founded in 2015 with the aim of bringing development to The Gambian people, particularly the deprived. Jatta is particularly interested in personal and national development. Under Ebrima’s watch, his organisation implemented several charity initiatives in Brufut. At the Brufut Lower Basic School, Ebrima oversaw the rehabilitation of the school, which included the building of 11 new toilets at the school, re-electrification of the school, renovation of the school market, and the donation of 364 tables and 940 chairs worth 2.6 million dalasi. Ebrima’s organisations also donated 100 steel-built benches and tables worth 200,000 dalasi to the same school. Casa-Gambia also extended donation to Brufut Health Center.
